The third release from Seattle-based collective secondnature comes from Archivist, with the Star In A Circle EP: Four introspective tracks that take you on a journey through Archivist’s strong mood persona in the form of intricate, subtle musical landscapes and undertones. Archivist explores the power of anxiety, loneliness and melancholia to compel movement, delving into the tension between internal struggle and dance floor liberation.

His left-field house and old-school breaks have found their way onto Gestalt Records and Rough Recordings, and here the producer turns in three cuts of blissed-out electronica, hedonistic progressive and jungle-run club with its sights firmly fixated front left, complete with a wicked remix from one of modern dance music's most reliable names - Roza Terenzi.‘Plastic Replicant’ is a vocal-laced electro-house roller that takes inspiration from the golden-era of 90s electronic music and fuses it with the organic, multi-genre blends of the current gen. " VA001 is a compilation of artists that have previously played at Colour! Our primary goal with this record was to showcase the diverse range of sounds that make the venue so special to us- from jazz to fusion to early morning trance. Additionally, we’re trying to raise money to keep the venue afloat and get artists paid while they can’t perform.On the orange side, you’ll get the late-night live music style we push upstairs, and the blue side would be the early morning dance music, plus more experimental electronic music takes.
